
Izzy Beeson, M.A., LPC
Izzy began working as a mental health professional in 2003. She has worked in residential care facilities for children & adolescents, psychiatric units in hospitals, and provided frontline interventions for families involved with Child Protective Services. In 2007, Izzy was able to obtain her licensure for LPC and has worked with the Missouri National Guard providing crisis counseling and intervention in her role as a Psychological Health Coordinator. She has also served children, adults, and families in her own private practice.
Izzy’s approach to working with individuals is one that is compassionate and person-centered. She believes each person she encounters is the expert on themselves and that her role is to be a supportive guide throughout the healing process. Her training and experience as a Licensed Professional Counselor have afforded her the opportunity to work with those who are experiencing a variety of symptoms, including but not limited to, complex trauma, sexual abuse or sexual assault grief & loss, anxiety, depression, and those who may be experiencing heightened stress related to family, work, or social situations. Treatment modalities Izzy often uses include Accelerated Resolution Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Person-Centered Therapy.
