Holly (My Hao) Pantuso, MA
Holly obtained her BS in Biology and BA in Music from Regis University in Denver, CO. She graduated Pre-Med, but ultimately had a love for psychology and often contemplated a world where mental health held the same gravity as physical health. She holds an MA in Clinical Psychology and is working on her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology with a specialization in Psychophysiology from Saybrook University, a humanistic graduate school based in Pasadena, CA. She hopes to graduate in August 2021.
Holly has immense experience in trauma psychology; she has worked with survivors of sex trafficking, abused and neglected children, and at-risk/homeless youth. She is currently a pre-doctoral psychology intern under the primary supervision of Dr. Richard Connell, Ph.D. at Connell & Associates, and is also a part of a training consortium with DFW Psychological & Consulting Services in the Fort Worth area.
Though she is well-versed in trauma studies, Holly profoundly appreciates the intersectionality between the body and the mind. She approaches assessment and treatment planning through a holistic lens that assimilates all facets of the human experience through the bio-psycho-social-spiritual model. She believes that individuals are the experts of their own lives and must take ownership of themselves before true change can be made. It is through the collaboration of the client and clinician that allows an authentic and supportive healing space.
